It’s one thing to have someone sing you happy birthday, it’s another if that person is Adele.
The star turned to the audience at a recent show in Vegas a part of her residency in the US for a helping hand to sing a happy birthday to her partner, who turned 41 this month.
Adele, 34, told the packed crowd at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace: ‘It’s my boyfriend’s birthday today, and I love him more than life itself. Can we wish him happy birthday?’
As she began to perform a stirring rendition of the birthday tune, she reminded the audience her boyfriend’s name was Rich, which made fans giggle from their seats.
After the gorgeous singalong, Adele fell into one of her famous cackles before returning to her usual set.
Adele, who is in the throes of her Weekends With Adele concert series in Vegas, which runs through until March, confirmed her relationship with sports agent Rich in September 2021, following her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019.

While the couple have been seen looking loved-up at basketball games and have bought a Beverly Hills home together reportedly worth £48million, they tend to keep their relationship out of the spotlight.
However during a recent Q&A with fans – Happy Hour with Adele – the I Drink Wine singer was asked what she’s been doing lately that makes her happy – to which she responded enthusiastically: ‘Oh yeah, I like that question!’

She admitted she’s been ‘buying a lot of clothes,’ insisting: ‘I’m not a hoarder I just like to buy a lot of things!’
Adele went on to say ‘hanging out with my dogs’ makes her happy, as well as playing an addictive word game ‘not Wordle but it’s like that.’
‘And then making special time for Rich,’ she added.
‘The season’s just started, and believe it or not I’m actually a big basketball fan,’ she said, joking: ‘thank God!’
Previously chatting with Elle magazine, Adele said: ‘I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him.’
When asked if she wants to get married again, Adele didn’t hesitate to say yes: ‘Yes, absolutely’, before responding to engagement rumours in the most Adele way possible.
‘Well! Well. Well, I’m not married,’ she said, and started to laugh. ‘I’m not married.’
‘So… are you engaged?’, the interviewer pressed.
‘I’m not married. I’m not married!’, she repeated, taking a big gulp of coffee before singing: ‘I’m just in loooove! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married.’
We want a birthday serenade from Adele!
