Mysterious white lights recorded by several different witnesses in early December have people speculating they were UFOs (Pictures: Daily Mail)
Bright white lights recorded in the sky by not one, but several different witnesses has people wondering if the unexplained phenomenon are UFOs.
Flashes of lights dart across dark, cloudy skies in rural Wisconsin in videos obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail. Eyewitnesses who did not know each other simultaneously recorded the lights from different locations, metadata from the clips shows.
One video from a West Bend salon owner, Kimberly, appears to show a glowing white object swooping several times in front of the car she and her husband were in.
‘We’ve never seen even two in a row,’ she said. ‘We looked at each other and went, “Okay, this is not an owl, what the heck is going on here?”‘

Kimberly, who did not want to give her last name, said they then began to see the lights above them.
‘As we’re both leaning forward into the windshield, we start seeing these lights, similar to what I caught in the video. We just couldn’t wrap our heads around what we were seeing,’ she said.
‘There was no sound to it. It was a pretty clear and normal Wisconsin night without any crazy weather.’
Another video was recorded five miles northeast of Kimberly’s location by Ken, a former police officer in Fredonia who also did not provide his last name. His clip shows lights over the sky, but weather data that night showed no thunder or lightning in the region.

A third witness, Andrea Lynn, shared four videos on Facebook of multi-colored lights going in circles in the sky outside her home 80 miles north of Howard.
‘Has anyone in the Green Bay area seen the random groups of lights in the sky flying around? Any idea on what they are?’ she captioned her social media post.
‘I reached out to the National Weather service, and they told me they saw the same lights again a week later.’
The next day, December 2, teacher Chris Nowak was driving north on Interstate 43 from Greenfield to West Allis with his wife and two children, when they noticed weird lights in the sky. They recorded purplish-blue lights and then streaks of white light.
‘I’ve really never seen anything like it before’It was like a row of illumination through the clouds, and it would pulse through the sky incredibly quickly,’ said Nowak.
‘It shot through the clouds and broke off into like three different beams from there. It moved at an incredible speed. It cleared down to the edge of the entire sky very, very quickly.’
Former FBI agent Ben Hansen, who hosts the UFO Witness show on Discover+ and investigated the videos with the Daily Mail, said that it was difficult to explain the flashes as searchlights because there was no evidence of advertising spotlights permitted.
‘It’s interesting to note that the majority of worldwide UFO sightings are now reported as “light anomalies” and not traditional shapes such as disks, cylinders, or triangles that normally come to mind,’ said Hansen.
