Vicky McClure has offered a glimmer of hope that fans will be reunited with the Line of Duty cast, suggesting it’s just a question of when we’ll get a series seven.
The popular BBC One drama, which stars Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar, appeared to come to an end with season six as viewers finally learned the identity of the mystery figure known as ‘H’.
However, the ending left many with even more answers and there have been growing calls for creator Jed Mercurio to pen another chapter.
Vicky, who plays AC-12 member Kate Fleming, was asked about the possibility of a new run on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, to which she responded: ‘I’ve got nothing to tell you because I’ve got nothing to tell you.’
However, she added reassuringly: ‘I speak to the lads all the time and we’d love to, we’re all game.
‘I think it’s just a case of now – Martin, I think he’s in about nine shows or something. He’s busy [but] I’m sure we’ll get there.’

He’s about trying to give people opportunity.’
When it was highlighted that her character Kate managed to survive the entire show run so far without being killed off, Vicky, 39, laughed: ‘Fingers crossed.’
