Young brothers and their cousin pictured as all four frozen lake victims named
The Metro says Two brothers and their cousin have been named among the young children who died after falling into an icy lake in Solihull.
The latest victim, six-year-old Samuel Butler, is thought to have gone to Babbs Mill Lake on Sunday afternoon with his older sibling Finlay, eight, and their cousin Thomas Stewart, 11, to feed the ducks.
When the icy surface gave way beneath them, police officers and onlookers – including brave 11-year-old Jack Johnson – rushed to try and save them.
Tragically, Finlay, Thomas and Jack were all declared dead at hospital that same evening before Sam too lost his battle after spending three days in intensive care.
