A Morocco fan lashed out at Chelsea manager Graham Potter ahead of the African nation’s World Cup semi-final against France.
Morocco became the first African team to reach this stage of a World Cup when they stunned Portugal in the quarter-finals.
Walid Regragui’s side will look to go one step further at the Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday night but face a France team looking to defend the World Cup title.
One of Morocco’s best players in Qatar has been Chelsea outcast Hakim Ziyech and the 29-year-old was once again named in the starting XI for the clash against World Cup holders France.
Ziyech is a Moroccan hero but has only started one Premier League game for Chelsea this season, with Potter favouring other options before the league paused for the World Cup.
The Moroccan fans were in high spirits in Qatar on Tuesday ahead of their first World Cup semi-final, but one supporter could not hide his anger at Potter over his treatment of Ziyech.
Given his lack of game-time at Stamford Bridge, Ziyech is expected to leave Chelsea in January and has been heavily linked with a move to Italy.
One Moroccan fan was filmed on Sky Sports saying: ‘Graham Potter! Hakim Ziyech is gonna be in the final, bro. You’re losing, bro. Graham Potter, we need you out!
‘You’re not here,’ the supporter continued while pointing at the Al Bayt Stadium. ‘Hakim Ziyech is here! See you, Graham Potter.’
