Migrants feared dead after dozens aboard boat hit trouble in cold weather

The Independent says Deaths are feared to have happened from an incident involving a small boat in the English Channel as authorities launched a rescue mission in freezing conditions.

No casualities have officially been confirmed. But reports suggest three are feared dead after dozens entered the water off the coast of Kent.

The UK coastguard launched a search and rescue mission in response to the small boat incident this morning. Lifeboats and helicopters have been sent to help.
