A dog jumped into his owner’s Jeep, accidentally put it into gear and ended up crashing into a neighbour’s car.
Shaun Waller, 34, was working from his home in the Welsh village of Gronant on December 1 when he heard a loud bang and saw his neighbour’s car rolling into his.
It was only when he watched his doorbell footage that he realised a dog was behind the wheel when the accident happened.
His neighbour’s pet had leapt into the Jeep via the driver’s seat – knocking it out of gear and leading to the car rolling down the driveway.
It then collided with Shaun’s car which was parked opposite, while his helpless neighbour tried to catch the car from the outside.
Shaun said: ‘It caused a lot of rear damage to my car – the rear quarter was damaged and it was pushed into the wall.
‘I just hope the dog is a named driver, but if the car insurance won’t do it then the pet insurance might.

Yuki was left sporting an inking around one eye that made her owners think of Mike Tyson (Picture: Christie Dean)
‘Me and my partner were in hysterics laughing – it’s an old car so we weren’t too bothered about the damage.’
This month has seen several dogs dabble in human activities, including a puppy named Yuki giving herself a Mike Tyson lookalike tattoo.
Yuki’s new ink happened after she chewed a pen while her owners were out.
The owner’s sister Christi Dean said: ‘Yuki is a Covid pup and has severe separation anxiety so when my sister and her boyfriend went out she must have panicked and chewed on a pen.
‘When they came home they found the pen and saw that Yuki had turned herself into Mike Tyson.
‘Fortunately Yuki was soon back to her lively self so it was a one-off and unlike Mike Tyson she won’t be keeping the body art.’
