After an amazing series, we have our finalists! (Picture: BBC/Ray Burmiston)
We have our Strictly Come Dancing finalists, people! And what a final it will be.
After weeks of waltzing and tangoing across the dancefloor, our series 20 cast has been whittled down to just four couples, who are all hoping to lift the glitter ball trophy.
Alas, only one can receive the honour of being crowned Strictly champ 2022 but, before then, we have a load more routines to enjoy.
The four finalists will each perform a show dance in Saturday night’s grand finale, along with their favourite routine of the series and one of the judges’ picks.
Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke can do no more, though, as it’ll be the public vote alone that decides the winning couple.
So, before we get carried away with excitement, let’s take a look at just who our Strictly finalists are…
Hamza Yassin

Wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin started the series relatively unknown, but he quickly earned a place in the hearts of the nation.
The CBBC presenter has become a firm favourite with both viewers and bookies and has scored 10 after 10 from the panel.
Arguably one of his most iconic routines was his couple’s choice to a Jerusalema remix, which transported everyone back to his South African roots.
He and pro parter Jowita Przystał have also become known for their daring lifts, as it seems they’re constantly on a mission to include the most dangerous flips and twists in their choreography.
Hamza pulls of every stunt with ease, though, and watching him dance proves exactly why he’s predicted to lift the coveted trophy.
Becoming very emotional after his beautiful waltz in the semi-final, Hamza reflected on his experience.
‘Thank you to everybody. It’s just been an amazing journey,’ he hailed.
Singing his praises, Jowita added: ‘First time when I met you, I asked your for the trust and the energy and you gave me much more than that.
‘Seeing you every day, going out of your comfort zone, and working so hard and giving me 120% every time is amazing.
‘But, what’s made me the proudest teacher in the world is how you always go there on the night and you dance from the heart, thank you for that.’
Helen Skelton

Much like Hamza, former Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton has sailed through on the public vote each week, avoiding the dreaded dance-off.
Strictly has been an emotional rollercoaster for Helen and her pro Gorka Marquez, though, as she signed up for the glitzy BBC show following her marriage split earlier this year.
She’s gone from strength to strength on the dancefloor, though, and viewers have loved watching her grow in confidence.
Some of her most memorable routines include her couple’s choice to Mein Herr from Cabaret in Musicals Week, which was hailed by many as a ‘revenge’ routine.
The Countryfile presenter also knocked it out of the park with her jive, which scored a 10 from judge Anton.
Helen has been seen in tears a handful of times on the show this series, especially while discussing her family and children, whom she shares with ex-husband Richie Myler.
But, after a difficult year, Helen has certainly had the last laugh, saying recently: ‘I came into this show quite battle-hardened.
‘Strictly is probably quite overwhelming for a lot of people but for me, weirdly, I was actually in the best place to be in it.
‘Other people were worried about all the attention that comes with being on Strictly, or baring their souls on the telly, whereas I was ready for that.’
It’s safe to say fans absolutely love her.
Molly Rainford
Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu have survived four dance-offs to make the final (Picture: PA)
Former Britain’s Got Talent star Molly Rainford has had a rocky ride to the final.
The singer and actress has been in four dance-offs this series and survived each one, along with pro Carlos Gu who was new to the show this year.
She’s still standing, though, something that she made very clear in the semi-final while dancing a powerful paso doble to Survivor by Destiny’s Child.
And on several occasions, the panel and viewers at home have noted how Molly looks like a professional dancer herself while on the dancefloor.
From a couple’s choice to the Grange Hill theme to a fiery Argentine tango to Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill, she and Carlos have really set the competition alight.
She may be the youngest contestant this year at just 21 years of age, but Molly has meant business all the way through.
Speaking ahead of her Strictly stint, she admitted there was ‘pressure’ to do well.
‘I was worried that people would have a preconception that, because I perform, I can dance, but I can assure you, it’s not the case,’ she insisted, humbly.
‘I feel like that would give people an expectation that I’m going to be a good dancer, which is a pressure – that’s a little bit scary.’
After topping the leaderboard several times thus far, can Molly go all the way on Saturday night?
Fleur East

Last, but never least, we have the one and only Fleur East.
The Sax hitmaker was a super exciting signing for Strictly fans this year but, like Molly, she too has had a turbulent time.
In fact, she almost fell at the final hurdle after finding herself in the bottom two in the semi-final which, ultimately, led to Will Mellor and Nancy Xu’s elimination.
Fleur has remained defiant in the face of each terrifying dance-off, though, and even holds a special record this series.
Thanks to her incredible couple’s choice to a Destiny’s Child medley in Blackpool this series, the former X Factor star managed to get Mr Nasty to dig out his 10 paddle, earning her that perfect score of 40.
Fleur has also been putting in the hours, getting up at stupid o’clock for her breakfast radio show, before training for Strictly late into the night.
Pro parter Vito Coppola – who is also new to the show this series – has had nothing but compliments for her, though, with Fleur herself previously saying she was doing the show for her late dad.
The singer previously told Lorraine: ‘For me it’s sentimental because my dad, who passed away in 2020, Strictly was his favourite show.’
‘I’m just going to be doing it for him,’ she added, becoming tearful.

‘I’m gutted he can’t see me do it, but I’m going to keep him in mind when I’m doing the show.’
Fleur has already done her dad very proud, but can she make it all the way? Time will tell…
The grand final of Strictly Come Dancing 2022 airs Saturday at 7:05pm on BBC One.
