How much will this change things? (Picture: ITV)
Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron) is aware he needs friends in high places if he’s to carry on his far-right political campaign in Coronation Street.
Said pals are coming in all shapes and sizes. There’s Spider (Martin Hancock), who’s become Griff’s right-hand man (but is also working as an undercover cop) and Max (Paddy Bever) who is using his tech skills and knowledge of social media to promote false hate propaganda.
Max has completed a lot of tasks for Griff since being lured into the gang. After a meeting at the community centre went slightly wrong on their part, Max edited his video to make it seem as though the local residents were siding with Griff – not Roy (David Neilson).
He’s also set up an online petition and is busy luring his school mates onto a far-right online forum.
