Doctors’ union criticises shadow health secretary for ‘incredibly disappointing’ comments over funding and primary care
Wes Streeting has again criticised the British Medical Association (BMA) in a war of words with the doctors’ union, after the shadow health secretary called for increased NHS funding to be matched by a change in approach among GPs.
The BMA criticised Streeting for what it called “disappointing” comments after he used an interview with the Sunday Telegraph to accuse the union of being hostile towards vitally needed NHS reform efforts.
