A university student was bursting at the seams when she received a call from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield with a chance to win cash on This Morning’s Spin To Win.
On Friday there were three chances for viewers to pick up some prize money throughout the show’s Christmas competition, but there had been a lot of calls that went unanswered.
It was the last day to play for the year but as host Phil, 60, said, it had been ‘a very dry morning’.
However, things certainly changed when Abby, a student at Northumbria Uni picked up the phone.
Once she realised she was in with a chance of winning a cash prize, the screams started, from both herself and the four pals she was with at the other end of the phone/
Holly and Phil, insanely amused by the sheer excitement down the line, had their work cut out for them as they tried to ask her some questions.

‘We can’t understand you!’ Holly, 40, laughed, almost as giddy as Abby.
After consulting her friends on whether to spin the wheel or the balls, she settled on the wheel and Holly did the honour.
Abby was a bit nervous, repeatedly saying ‘oh my god’ while waiting for the result.
When the wheel finally stopped and Abby was told she’d won £2,000, she became even more excited and the screams began again.
‘Thank you so much. I literally got a parking ticket as well yesterday so that means that’s paid for,’ she exclaimed.
‘I’ve been entering this competition for two years no joke!’
Before they’d spun the wheel, Phil did poke a little fun at Abby though after asking where she was studying and what she was reading.
She told him she was studying events management at Northumbria University.
‘Lovely, that’s always an easy option,’ he joked, before saying that his daughter had done the same.

People watching along at home got plenty of laughs, too, a much-needed dose of hilarity on a freezing winter morning.
‘Obsessed with this screaming girl at uni,’ one enthused, while another was thrilled for her to win the prize.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
