Lionel Messi will play his 1000th senior match as his Argentina side take on surprise package Australia at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as the round of 16 continues.
The winner will progress to the quarter-finals where they will face the Netherlands who beat the USA 3-1 in today’s other match.
