Jennifer Lopez shared that she wouldn’t say no to starring in a Gigli sequel alongside Ben Affleck despite being hailed a box office flop.
The Ain’t Your Mama singer struck up a romance with the Gone Girl actor when they worked together on the 2003 comedy crime film.
Gigli follows a hitman who is asked to kidnap the mentally ill brother of an influential federal prosecutor.
The movie arguably became the most heavily-panned work of both Ben and Jennifer’s careers, but it seems like they both have fond memories nonetheless.
During Vogue’s 73 Questions, Jennifer was asked which one of her movies would she most want to make a sequel of, to which she simply responded: ‘Gigli.’
And it seems like there’s an obvious reason why JLo would love to work with husband Ben again as she also revealed that the 50-year-old made her laugh the most between takes.

The couple first became an item in 2002 and got engaged the following year before calling off their wedding in 2004 just days before the ceremony.
Following Jennifer’s split from fiance Alex Rodriguez in March 2021, she became reacquainted with her famous ex and Bennifer was born again.
To celebrate the release of her upcoming album This Is Me… Now which is a follow-up album to 2002’s This Is Me… Then, which focused on her former relationship with the Batman actor.
However, after they initially called off their engagement , the Maid In Manhattan actress explained that she couldn’t bring herself to perform those tracks.

‘I wouldn’t even perform these records. It was so painful after we broke up,’ she continued. ‘Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life, and I honestly felt like I was going to die.
‘So I didn’t make music in that way that I did in 2002 until now… It set me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn’t get it right.
‘But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It has the most, would never happen in Hollywood ending.’
