The family of a 12-year-old killed when he was hit by a car have paid tribute to their ‘beautiful boy’.
Tyler Wills, from Crawley in Sussex, died after the crash at around 2.40pm on Friday.
In a tribute shared by police, his family said: ‘Our beautiful boy Tyler – he was the most caring, loving, kind boy.
‘He has made his family so proud; he will be loved and missed forever.
‘Our beautiful boy, I hope you’re up high kicking that ball. We love you more than words will ever say. Mummy loves you.’
Tyler was taken to hospital after the crash on Crawley Avenue but could not be saved.
Sussex Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

An array of flowers and notes have been left at the scene paying tribute to him.
The tributes include condolence messages and poems as well as flowers and teddy bears. All messages pay tribute to Tyler who was taken far too soon.
One tribute, left by Tyler’s dad, mentions Tyler’s ‘gorgeous smile’ and ‘kind heart’ before referring to him as the ‘brightest star shining in the night time sky.’
Alongside the tributes left at the scene, a GoFundMe page has also been set up raising money to cover the cost of the funeral and a headstone.
The total raised has already passed the target of £10,000.
In the fundraiser, Tyler is described as ‘one of the sweetest boys’ who ‘never had a bad bone in his body.’
The friend who set up the fundraiser said he hopes to give Tyler the ‘best send off and one he deserves.’
