Tim Burton’s compelling adaption of The Addams Family has already gripped Netflix viewers, and fans are already desperate for more.
The highly-anticipated spin-off titled Wednesday sees the morbid teen (Jenna Ortega) as the titular lead shipped off to boarding school Nevermore Academy, which is the same place her parents Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzman) fell in love – but Wednesday is about to discover the mysterious things lurking behind the scenes.
OG Wednesday star Christina Ricci also returns to her iconic roots, but this time she portrays ‘dorm mum’ Marilyn Thornhill.
With a star-studded cast featuring the likes of Fred Armisen and Gwendoline Christie , here’s everything you need to know about a possible second chapter.
Could there be a season 2 of Wednesday?

As the show officially dropped hours ago, Netflix is yet to confirm its return for a second season.
However, showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are definitely open to the idea!
‘Miles and I are talking amongst ourselves about it,’ Gough told Empire. ‘There’s definitely more that you can explore in the world of the Addamses.’
Leading lady Ortega on the other hand has no idea whether the series will be picked up for a second installment.
‘I have no idea if we’ll come back,” she told NME.
‘It could continue but it could also end. I think that’s what’s kind of nice about the show – we have the option.’
We really hope so!
How many episodes of Wednesday are there?

Wednesday consists of eight episodes in total, and the duration of each episode ranges between 45 to 55 minutes.
The coming-of-age drama follows the sarcastic teen’s years at Nevermore Academy, where she will learn to develop and hone her abilities.
What are those abilities? Psychic powers. In doing so, she aims to prevent a killing spree gripping her local town and solve a mystery that involved her parents two decades before.
