The nursery rhyme goes that a mouse lived in a windmill in Old Amsterdam. Well now, so could you.
This windmill is located 11 miles northeast of Harrogate, and could be yours for just under £800k.
The Grade II-listed building dates back to 1822 – and every room is circular.
Prospective owners will need to be careful about making any alterations or changes to the windmill without formal consent from the necessary authorities.
The historic home, on sale for £799,999, is surrounded by the stunning North Yorkshire countryside and will celebrate its 200th anniversary this year.
While it may appear small from the outside, the house boasts four bedrooms over six floors, with original features including limestone walls, heavy timber beams, flagstones and a wood burner.

And the kitchen still has its original cast iron oven and stovetop. There are also exposed heavy timber beams and limestone walls throughout the property.
The property description says its ‘one of the most complete windmills surviving in the country’ and would give owners ‘a thoroughly unique and charming residential property.’
It also adds that the windmill has been adapted for the modern homeowner.
It reads: ‘The ground floor has been extended to provide additional living space, with the extension including a family room with a corner wood-burning stove.
‘The main windmill building houses a sitting and dining area with flagstone flooring.
‘There are two first reception rooms on the third floor, with both the library and sitting room featuring wonderful countryside views.’

Of the four bedrooms, one is en-suite, and the remaining three take up the top three stories of the home – with even more spectacular views of the surrounding area.
When it comes to the outside, the windmill is home to an extensive rear garden, with the lawn extending over 100ft.
There is also an orchard, a section of timber decking and a small lawned area on the side.

Neatly laid and beautiful flower beds can be seen bordering the walled front garden with a paved pathway leading to the entrance.
There is also a carport located in the detached outbuilding, which is also home to a potting shed and a home office.
