Seann Walsh might have only met Boy George in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! camp two weeks ago, but his pregnant partner Grace Adderley is hoping they can convince the singer to perform at their child’s first birthday party.
Up until recently, comedian Seann was probably best known for getting wrapped up in the Strictly Come Dancing snogging scandal in 2018, but signed up for this show in the hopes people would ‘see that I am very different’.
Last month he also announced that he was expecting a baby with his partner of three years.
Jetting out to Australia to support Seann this week, Grace, who is due to give birth in February, revealed that her partner is a huge fan of the Culture Club front man and expressed an interest in getting him involved in the future celebrations.
‘He is a fan of Boy George and I knew that was the first gig he had ever been to with his mum and so I knew before he would absolutely love that BG was in there and he loves creative people as well so there is a lot of creatives in there so I knew he was going to get on with everybody it didn’t surprise me at all,’ she told the Mirror.
Grace added that there might therefore be a chance of convincing him and another campmate to get involved in their unborn child’s first birthday.

‘We don’t know what we are having but we are probably going to have a first birthday party for the baby where Boy George is performing, maybe Babatunde will come on and do a set, it will be great,’ she said.
Although Seann had been nervous about putting himself back into the public eye, Grace said she still avoids looking online to avoid reading anything about his involvement in the Strictly cheating scandal.
‘All the messages I have had from friends and family and work colleagues has been really positive but I don’t like to go online and look because it is upsetting for me if anyone says anything nasty and he can’t read it anyway so I am only hurting myself if I read any negative comments,’ she said.
‘I hope this is a new chapter. This is the Seann I know and so I hope so I haven’ tried to look too much online I just go off what everyone that has been messaging me says and it is all positive. I am really happy for him.’
Before entering the camp, Seann revealed that it was Grace who had convinced him to sign up for the show.

‘As you can imagine I was very scared after the last time I was on a big show because the fallout was not something you would want to go back to,’ he said.
‘Grace talked me into doing it. She convinced me it was the wrong attitude to have not doing it because I feared what people would think, but to do it because I would have a wonderful time.’
I’m A Celebrity returns tonight at 9pm on ITV.
