Lizzy Savetsky has quit the upcoming Real Housewives of New York reboot during filming.
The influencer and activist was confirmed as part of the cast for the new Bravo show last month, along with Jenna Lyon, Jessel Taank, Ubah Hassan, Sai De Silva and Erin Dana Lichy.
However, taking to Instagram, the mom-of-three confirmed her departure from the show, revealing that she had been subjected to a ‘torrent of anti-Semitic attacks’.
‘I will not be continuing on the Real Housewives of NYC,’ she began. ‘As a proud orthodox Jewish woman, I thought participating in this series would be a great chance to represent people like me and share my experience.
‘Unfortunately, from the time of my announcement in the cast, I was on the receiving end of a torrent of antisemitic attacks. As this continued, I realized that this path was no longer right for me and my family.
‘I’m looking forward to my next chapter. Stay tuned – and thank you for your love support!’
Lizzy, who is married to plastic surgeon Dr Ira Savetsky, was flooded with supportive comments from a selection of former RHONY stars, as well as fans and friends.
Jill Zarin, NY OG, penned: ‘Sending you and your family our love.’
Leah McSweeney, who starred in the final two seasons, shared a string of heart emoji.
‘You should never have to go through that!! – you are incredibly STRONG & BRAVE – keep following your instincts … AMAZING THINGS ARE COMING,’ a follower commented.

‘Thank you for showing everyone that mental health and family matter most.’
As one added: ‘Wow. Must have been so hard to decide to go on and then decide to go off!
‘May you always have the strength to stay true to your values and set an example for people everywhere!!!!!!’

Bravo bosses spoke of Lizzy’s exit in a statement to People Magazine, which read: ‘After thoughtful consideration and discussion with Lizzy, we have reached the mutual conclusion that Lizzy will not be a cast member on RHONY.’
Insiders also told the outlet that she had stopped filming for the series around two weeks ago.
The news may come as a shock to fans, as the cast for the reboot had only been announced a few weeks ago.
