Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) resorted to murder in Hollyoaks in a bid to save mother Norma Crow (Glynis Barber) from death, as he killed Les the embalmer (Tony Mooney).

Les, as viewers know, has been a longtime associate of Norma’s, having worked with her on a number of projects, including trying to kill Sienna Blake (Anna Passey).

The recurring character, however, betrayed Norma last week, with recent scenes revealing that he’s none other than the mysterious Turner, who has been trying to kill The Undertaker.

To complicate matters further, evil Les had managed to manipulate loyal and hardworking Godrey, Norma’s trusted confidante and driver, who turned his back on his employer as a result.

With Norma taken prisoner by her too so-called colleagues, Warren was tasked with saving her life, knowing that if she dies he will also die, given that he’s relying on her to save his life with a piece of her liver.

Grace Black (Tamara Wall) joined in on the action as she headed with Warren to the crematorium in a bid to save Norma, and when the duo arrived, they realised that Les and Godrey were in cahoots together, having double-crossed Norma.

Warren berated the pair, specifically targeting Godrey in his criticism, as he reiterated how dearly Norma regarded him. His words hit home, as Godrey came to his rescue as he attacked Les, who was holding Warren and Grace at gunpoint.

Warren then intervened in the showdown and got his hand on the firearm, shooting Les dead.

Norma was freed from her captivity and she subsequently berated Godrey for his betrayal, but allowed him to live.

Warren, meanwhile, collapsed, leaving his fate up in the air, as Norma realised that he would need a piece of her liver sooner than expected. Will he be okay?
