The World Cup 2022 is now just days away from starting with a large Manchester United contingency set to take part in Qatar.
The majority of the United squad will swap Old Trafford for the Middle East over the next six weeks with Erik ten Hag instead left with a skeleton squad to work with whilst the tournament takes place.
But exactly which Manchester United players will be playing in the World Cup this winter?
We take at look at the Red Devils confirmed to be taking part in the greatest show on Earth.
Tyrell Malacia
Summer signing Malacia has been called up to the Netherlands squad by former United manager Louis van Gaal.
The 23 year-old has struggled for game time since being withdrawn at half-time during the Manchester derby but will be hoping for more game time in Qatar.
Harry Maguire
Despite limited minutes for United this season due to struggles with form and fitness, Southgate has kept the faith with his trusted on-field lieutenant.

Marcus Rashford
Rashford’s eight goals in all competitions this season have seen him rewarded with a place in the Three Lions squad.
Rashford has not played for England since the Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy, where he came on as a substitute and missed a penalty in the shootout.
Luke Shaw
Shaw looks well-placed to start the World Cup as England’s first choice left-back following the news that Ben Chilwell will miss the tournament with a hamstring injury.
The 27 year-old made his England debut in 2014 but has only managed 23 caps since then.
Lisandro Martinez
United’s summer arrival from Ajax will be a member of the Argentina squad looking to win their third world title.
Lionel Scaloni’s men enter the tournament as one of the favourites after becoming South American champions last year.

Christian Eriksen
It is no surprise that Eriksen is heading to Qatar for what will be the great Dane’s third World Cup.
Denmark’s opener against Tunisia on November 22 will be Eriksen’s first match at a major tournament since he suffered a cardiac arrest in the group stage of Euro 2020 against Finland.
Raphael Varane
The centre half has been included in Didier Deschamps’s final list of players despite hobbling off the pitch in tears with a leg injury during the 1-1 draw with Chelsea on October 22.
Varane was part of the French team which won the World Cup four years ago in Russia.
Casemiro
The Brazilian has been named in Tite’s star-studded squad this winter.
Casemiro has won 65 caps for the South American’s and he will once again put in the hard graft in midfield to allow Brazil’s devastating array of attacking talent to strut their stuff higher up the pitch.

Fred
Casemiro will be joined in the Brazilian midfield by close friend Fred.
The 29 year-old was named in Tite’s squad for Russia 2018 but failed to make an appearance at the tournament.
Antony
Antony will be hoping to add to the World Cup to his international trophy cabinet which already contains the Olympic gold medal from the Tokyo games last year.
The winger has had an indifferent start to life at Old Trafford since his £85 million move from Ajax at the start of September.

Cristiano Ronaldo
The Portuguese legend will captain Fernando Santos’ side in Qatar looking to add the only major trophy missing from his illustrious CV.
Ronaldo holds the record for the most goals scored at international level with 117, seven of which have come in the World Cup.
