At least 21 people were killed when a bus plunged into a canal in Egypt’s Nile River Delta region.
Dr Sherif Makeen, from the country’s ministry of health, said three children were among the dead.
The accident occurred in Dakahlia province, just over 60 miles northeast of Cairo.
Several other passengers were taken to a nearby hospital.

Mohamed Abdel Haidi, the province’s chief police investigator, said the driver may have lost control of the steering wheel.
Thousands of people die in traffic accidents every year in Egypt, which has a poor transport safety record.

Crashes and collisions are mostly caused by speeding, bad roads or poor enforcement of traffic laws.
In July, a passenger bus slammed into a parked trailer truck on a highway in the southern province of Minya, killing 23 people and injuring 30.
At least 10 people were killed when a truck slammed into a minibus in Dakahlia in October.
