A police officer has been stabbed to death in a suspected terror attack near a train station in Brussels, according to officials
Belgium’s federal prosecutor’s office said two officers were targeted in the incident near Brussels North station.
A judicial official said there was ‘a suspicion of a terror attack’.
Local media are reporting that the attacker has also been shot. His motive is unknown.
Police have cordoned off the area and emergency services are at the scene.
