The draw for the last 32 of the UK Championship has been made with the world’s top 16 learning their fate against the 16 players to come through qualifying.
Defending champion Zhao Xintong will take on either Ian Burns or Sam Craigie while world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan meets former champ Matthew Stevens.
There are standout contests as Mark Selby plays Hossein Vafaei, Neil Robertson meets his pal Joe Perry and friends also collide as Mark Allen takes on Jordan Brown.
Judd Trump gets either Xiao Guodong or Andres Petrov, Jimmy White’s prize for coming through qualifying is Ryan Day and there is an all Chinese clash between Yan Bingtao and Zhou Yuelong.
The qualifiers come to an end on Thursday evening at Ponds Forge in Sheffield before the main stages get underway at the Barbican in York on Saturday afternoon.
