Pete Davidson finally made his debut on the Kardashians – but not completely.
The Saturday Night Live star famously dated Kim Kardashian for around nine months, and filmed scenes for her Hulu series in that time.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for a snippet of the comedian, who appeared in the season two trailer, but his full debut didn’t quite go as planned, as his face appeared to be chopped off.
In the latest episode, cameras followed Kim to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, in Florida, as she tried to Marilyn Monroe’s gown in a tense fitting, with her now-ex on hand for moral support.
However, while Pete was filmed during this time – and was seen in other recordings from the fitting – only his black and red shirt could be made out in the final cut, with his face not in the frame at any point.
Last week’s instalment showed Ripley’s initially denying Kim’s request to wear the dress as planned, leading to her ‘begging’ bosses to change their mind.

During an on-camera confessional, she revealed that mom Kris Jenner worked her magic and talked them into finally agreeing if she was able to fit into it.
‘I flew all the way to Florida to try on the Marilyn dress at Ripley’s. They were not going to let me wear this dress, they weren’t even going to let me try it on, until Kris Jenner calls,’ the Skims founder said.
‘I was like, “Please mom, if you make this happen I’ll marry you”. I would’ve done anything.
‘She was there and I was screaming at her on the phone, like “I’ll pay for it, I’ll [do] this. I’ll fly to Florida, I’ll do an appearance at Ripley’s”. She’s just like, “shut up!”

‘After my mom’s conversation, they’ve agreed to let me try on the dress one last time. If it fits, I’m going to the Met. If it doesn’t fit, I’m not going to the Met.’
Marilyn’s gown cannot be altered, with Kim revealing that she had been exercising for some time to be able to slim down and fit into a prototype.
However, her plans were briefly thrown into chaos when the organization took back their offer, as the original ‘wouldn’t go over her hips’.
In the new scenes, Kim could be seen struggling to pull the gown up, with help from hairdresser Chris Appleton and the Ripley’s staff.

‘I have honestly been working my ass off to see my vision come to life,’ she said. ‘I will be crushed if this doesn’t pay off. It’s hard because you can’t shimmy into this dress the way I really would.
‘That’s the difficult part. It just has to glide up.’
Chris took matters into his own hands and moved her bum in her shapewear, meaning that the dress eventually went on.

Kim became emotional as her hard work paid off, but declared that the outfit didn’t zip up, and that they would have to leave it open and cover her bum with a fur wrap.
She later confirmed that she would wear a replica for much of the event, and only don the original for a few minutes on the red carpet.
The Kardashians airs on Hulu in the US and is available to stream on Disney+ in the UK.
