Former Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard could reportedly make a shock return to the Premier League with his Real Madrid days numbered.
Hazard left Chelsea for Real Madrid in 2019 in a deal worth over £100million as the forward finally realised his dream of becoming a Galactico.
However, his time in Spain has been a complete disaster with the Belgian international plagued with injury and fitness issues, and when he has played he has been a shadow of his former self.
He has made just 18 goal contributions in 72 appearances for Los Blancos so far, compared to the 202 goals and assists he achieved for the Blues in 352 games.
Ahead of the the current campaign, Hazard vowed to bounce back and has managed to keep himself in shape with Carlo Ancelotti willing to give the player another chance to prove his worth.
But for whatever reason it just hasn’t worked out, with the 31-year-old having started just two games across all competitions, with Real having seemingly moved on to a younger generation of forward stars including Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.
As a result, El Nacional via the MailOnline have reported that Real are ready to cut their losses and get rid of Hazard at the earliest opportunity.

The Champions League holders are willing to listen to permanent and temporary offers for Hazard, though any loan deal would have to include an obligation to buy clause of around £17m.
It seems that Real are content to take a huge loss on Hazard who, while at Stamford Bridge, was considered one of the Premier League’s and the world’s best players.
His reputation means that there is interest in the player with Newcastle and Aston Villa said to be his most likely suitors.
The Magpies of course have the financial power to accommodate Hazard’s sizeable wages, reported to be £400,000-a-week, while the Villans’ owners have serious ambitions about getting into Europe and are willing to back new manager Unai Emery with new players.
Hazard’s current contract with Real expires in 2024, but before any transfer dealings can be done he will head to Qatar for the World Cup with Belgium.
