Ronan Keating has shared his pain as his eldest daughter emigrates to the other side of the world.
The former Boyzone star, 45, is no stranger to immigration, having spent his youth on tour with the Irish boyband and moving to England from his native Dublin years ago.
However his daughter Missy is going slightly further afield as she has jetted off to Australia to begin a new life.
Ronan shares 21-year-old Missy as well as son Jack, 23, and Ali, 16, with his first wife Yvonne Connolly, later going on to welcome Cooper, five, and two-year-old daughter Coco with second wife Storm.
His two youngest children were among those giving Missy a tearful goodbye at the airport this week, with Ronan taking to Instagram to share a sweet photo of Missy cuddling her two youngest siblings as she prepared to leave.
Writing an honest and emotional post alongside the snap, dad-of-five Ronan admitted he was heartbroken by her decision to immigrate.

‘Off she goes,’ he wrote. ‘Australia watch out @missyykeating is on her way.’
The emotional dad went on: ‘Heart hurts so much. We are all going to miss her like crazy.
‘I’m so excited for ya Moo moo. Massive thank you to all the team @virginatlantic for taking such great care.’
Ronan wasn’t the only one feeling emotional by Missy’s departure, as his son Jack – who had a brief stint on this year’s Love Island – replied to his dad’s post with a crying and heart emoji.
And Missy herself wrote: ‘What a heartbreaking goodbye. Love you guys so much… Thank you for everything!!’
She added: ‘Visit me ASAP please,’ along with a laughing emoji.
Ronan is a dedicated family man, regularly sharing updates on life with his children and heaping praise on his grown-up kids as they set off on careers of their own.

The Boyzone icon lost his own mum, Marie, at the tender age of 20, after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
He then went on to found the Marie Keating Foundation, to raise awareness of cancer and champion the importance of early detection.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk in a recent interview, he recalled how his mother would often tell him ‘your health is your wealth.’

‘It’s ironic, that’s what matters to her, watching her kids grow and being healthy enough to be around.
‘That’s something that stayed with all of her children and I’ll pass on to her grandchildren.’
