A pregnant woman was found dead and her fetus was discovered in another location, leading to the arrest of a married couple.
Amber and Jamie Waterman were taken into custody in connection with the disappearance of 33-year-old Ashley Bush, who was 31 weeks pregnant, according to 4029TV.
Bush’s body was found with a gunshot wound in Missouri on Thursday, a day after her baby named Valkyrie Grace Willis was recovered somewhere else, police said.
The pregnant woman was looking for a work from home job when she met a woman online named ‘Lucie’, who was later identified as Amber, according to officials.

Bush and Amber met at a Handi-Mart convenience store in Maysville, Arkansas, with the soon-to-be-mother under the impression that she would then have a job interview about 30 miles away in Bentonville, cops said.
But investigators believe Bush never made it there.
Her fiancée Josh Willis – the father to their children aged 2, 7 and 8 – stated that he was ‘disgusted in the whole situation’.

‘I wish that Ashley and Valkyrie were alive and home with us all,’ he told the TV station. ‘I can’t believe that there are people out there that would do something like this.’
Willis called Bush ‘a great mother, a wonderful wife, a very outgoing, carin, and kind person’.
‘They didn’t deserve any of this,’ he said. ‘There are three amazing kids here that just lost their mother/best friend and little sister.’

County prosecutor Nathan Smith declined to comment on how the unborn baby was taken out of Bush’s body. The motive of the crime is still not clear, and it was not immediately known if the unborn baby was killed in Arkansas or Missouri.
The Watermans have been arrested on kidnapping charges in Bush’s disappearance. They could face additional charges, Smith said.
‘This is just a reminder that there is evil in the world. People do evil things,’ said Smith. ‘That someone would prey upon a pregnant woman at her most vulnerable state is unimaginable. That’s the world we live in.’
