House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband has reportedly been discharged from a hospital six days after a man brutally beat him with a hammer.
Paul Pelosi was released from Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital on Thursday after recovering from surgery for a skull fracture and hand and arm injuries, a source with knowledge on the matter told CNN.
The 82-year-old is resting at the couples San Francisco home, where David DePape allegedly broke in early Friday seeking to kidnap Nancy and turned on her husband.
Paul underwent a ‘successful surgery’ to repair his skull fracture and other injuries, Nancy’s spokesman Drew Hammill said on Friday evening, and added that he was expected to fully recover.
Nancy had said that her husband has a ‘long recovery’ road ahead of him.
