Tottenham coach Cristian Stellini could provide few details of Son Heung-Min’s worrying head injury during Tottenham’s win at Marseille, although did reveal that the forward was celebrating with his teammates after the memorable victory.
The 30-year-old was forced off during the first half of Tottenham’s crucial Champions League meeting with Marseille on Tuesday night.
He challenged for a ball in the air with Chancel Mbemba and caught the Marseille defender’s shoulder in his jaw, which left him looking dazed on the grass.
Son was unsteady on his feet as he was helped towards the touchline and it was clear he could not continue, replaced by Yves Bissouma.
Spurs would go on to win the game 2-1 and book their spot in the round of 16, but there are still concerns over Son.
Stellini said after the match: ‘In this moment we don’t know, we have to wait for a medical assessment, we wait for tomorrow.
‘I saw him in the dressing room so he celebrated with the squad as well. We wait until tomorrow.’

It is another chapter of what has been a frustrating season for the South Korean so far, in which he has scored just three Premier League goals in 13 games, all of which came in the same match.
However, it turned out to be a great day for Spurs on the pitch, picking up a 2-1 win in Marseille which saw them book their spot in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
They only needed a draw in France, but that was severely under threat as they went in at half-time 1-0 down after a Chancel Mbemba header.
However, Clement Lenglet and Pierre-Emile Hojberg were the unlikely heroes as they scored the goals which secured the victory in the second stanza.
