Boxer Tyson Fury to release debut single for mental health charity
Boxer Tyson Fury will release a single to raise money for men’s mental health charity Talk Club.
He has recorded a cover of Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline.
The song will be released on 11 November ahead of the Qatar world cup. The song has become a fan-favourite at many UK sporting events, with Fury saying he feels a connection to the track.
“Sweet Caroline is a record I’ve always loved and I’m excited to record and release it,” said the 34-year-old British boxer.
Fury has spoken openly about his mental health struggles and 100% of the profits from his single, including his earnings, will be donated to Talk Club.
The charity supports men by providing talking groups, sports groups and therapy.
