Anna ‘Delvey’ Sorokin reportedly being released from jail
The Russian con artist Anna “Delvey” Sorokin, who posed as a German heiress and scammed New York City’s elite is reportedly being freed from jail but will be banned from social media.
The con artist went on a scamming spree as she defrauded banks out of around $67m.
She was reportedly granted a $10,000 bond on Wednesday. She will be subject to house arrest.
She was released from state prison in February 2021 but went back after Immigrant and Custms Enforcement took her into custody.
She has been ordered to refrain from social media “either directly or by a third party.”
