RAPIST COP Serving Met Policeman, 33, charged with raping woman on popular beach

The Sun : RAPIST COP , A SERVING Met Police officer has been charged with raping a woman on Brighton beach.

Laurence Knight, 33, is accused of carrying out the assault while off-duty on July 17 last year

Cops said he was arrested on July 28 and released on bail as investigations continued.

Knight, attached to Met Detention, has since been charged and suspended from duty.
