Celebrities Won’t Let The Bucket-Hat Trend End
The bucket hat is a childhood throwback. Most kids rocked a bucket hat at some point during the 90s and 2000s, but this year celebrities have brought them back (for adult wear.)
It started with Harry Styles wearing a yellow bucket hat in his music video for “Golden” – the hat led to a 96% spike in bucket hats on fashion search engine Lyst. He was later pictured wearing a yellow frog bucket hat which was also popular.
Rihanna stepped out in a Prada nylon bucket hat in New York over the summer. The seafoam green hat paired with a printed top and jeans somehow made the bucket hat look kind of cool and not like a kid’s hat.
The US Open saw Brad Pitt rocking a bucket hat in a sleek all-white hat, Fashion Week VIPs have been wearing them front row and British Vogue’s Edward Enninful wore a black bucket hat to many shows.
Bucket hats are on the luxury and affordable markets. There are designer hats from Gucci, Loewe and Prd stones.
Try pairing a classic black with a dressier look to give your style a little extra without going over the top. The bucket hat undoubtedly adds instant personality – wear it proudly and with confidence!
