50 Cent might be ending the year with a lawsuit on his hands after linking rapper Memo600 to a murder in his latest television project Hip Hop Homicides.
Memo600 has publicly stated that he is suing the In da Club artist for defamation after being wrongly named as a suspect in FBG Duck’s murder.
Duck, whose real name was Carlton Weekly, was shot and killed in August 2020 by four people, in an upscale retail shopping district in Chicago, United States.
The latest episode of Hip Hop Homicides aired on December 22 and delved into the rapper’s death and looked at those allegedly involved, also mentioning Memo600.
Understandably, Memo600 was less than happy about being name dropped and voiced his fury in a statement shared twice on Twitter.

Last year, it was reported that five men – Charles ‘C Murda’ Liggins, Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Roberson, Tacarlos ‘Los’ Offerd, Christopher ‘C Thang’ Thomas, and Marcus ‘Muwop’ Smart – had been charged with Duck’s murder, according to an unsealed federal indictment.
John Laush, the US. attorney for Northern Illinois, said at the time: ‘There are now five people in custody who weren’t in custody before. Five people who were alleged to have committed a murder in broad daylight in the city of Chicago

‘Now it’s known to them and it’s known to anybody else who might be committing similar acts of brazen violence and who may brag about it or not brag about it that their day has come.’
