27 Coronation Street pictures for next week reveal major breakthrough made and legend in health crisis as attack rocks the cobbles

If you fancy a first look at what’s coming up in Coronation Street next week then you’ve certainly come to the right place, as we’ve got a brand new batch of spoiler pictures, just for you.

Not all heroes wear capes.

The week in question proves to be a dramatic one for the residents of the eponymous street, with the ITV soap serving up some shock twists along the way.

I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want it any other way!

Jenny and Carla Connor (Sally Ann Matthews and Alison King), as fans will know, are on a mission to get access to a locked file on Stephen Reid’s (Todd Boyce) laptop.

Knowing Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) has access to the twisted serial killer’s secret journal, the two desperately try to persuade Audrey to hand it over.

Hairdresser Audrey, however, refuses.

Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) tells Jenny not to give up as she deserves a cut of the missing money, which they believe Stephen to have stolen from the factory, suggesting that Jenny could buy the Rovers back with the cash in question.

Spotting all the Platts’ coats hanging up in the Bistro, Daisy forms a plan, stealing a set to keys to let herself into No.8, where she searches frantically for the journal.

But will she be found before she can find what she’s looking for?

Elsewhere on the Street, Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) reveals that he’s got a support group meeting later, with Carla offering to go with him. At the meeting, Peter opens up, admitting that he’s lost all interest in life and every day has become a chore.

The revelation comes as a shock to Carla, who has been through her fair share of heartache this year too, as she’s left deeply concerned for beloved beau.

Peter will exit the Street later this year, so expect emotional scenes aplenty in the build up to his farewell.

Coronation Street airs these scenes between Monday, December 18 and Friday, December 22 at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
