The body found in the woods is none other than that of rapist Craig, with Lydia (Karen Blick) believing that a Dingle carried out the crime over what he did to her.
In intense scenes, Lydia arrives at the Woolpack and relays news of Craig’s death to all those present, rendering everyone speechless.
Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Sam (James Hooton) field Lydia’s questions, with a flashback revealing that the two had Craig tied up in remote barn as the truth is revealed.
Their tale is of particular interest, with Sam subsequently confirming that he’s held back some information.
Bu just what are they hiding?

Aaron (Danny Miller), meanwhile, fights back when the Dingles ask for his alibi, with him throwing attention onto Charity (Emma Atkins), who is similarly harbouring a secret.
Flashbacks reveal that Charity and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) had discussed the Craig situation but that the conversation shifts to another matter entirely.
Consider us intrigued.
Elsewhere, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) play happy families and Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has a big question to answer.
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, October 30 and Friday November 3 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
