Get ready for a new week (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Venus retrograde continues this week, in Leo, squaring with Uranus in Taurus.
All said, it suggests an old flame might rekindle. That could literally be romantic, given we’re dealing with Venus and all, but it could be friendship, long lost family, or an old haunt or hobby too.
Be open-minded about the past, take a stroll down Memory Lane, revisit your childhood, look back fondly at old versions of yourself (the photos will tell a tale) because s/he was just doing his/her best… and they got you here, after all, right?
Let the tarot give you a nudge as to where your past is straining to be reignited and reinvented.

Tarot card for Cancer for this week: The Hierophant

You have grown, evolved, learnt well, and take on the lessons. You can now help others. You can set an example and teach or reassure people that they’re getting it right. You are a wise counsellor and a creative teacher, embrace this side of yourself.

Tarot card for Leo for this week: King of Coins

What’s sticking around in your mind longer than it should? (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Tarot card for Virgo for this week: Eight of Swords
Meaning: You look back and realise there’s a limiting self belief or perception of yourself that embedded itself during your childhood and has never really left you. Something triggers the realisation about this and, once seen, you can’t un-see it.
The Eight of Swords shows it’s time to notice, unpick, replace and heal this damaging self belief. You don’t need to carry it around any longer, it doesn’t match the reality and it doesn’t do you any good. Lord knows how or why it stuck, but it didn’t need to, and now you can peel it away and flick it off!

Meaning: Take a strange little stroll down Memory Lane to remember the bullies, bad teachers, unpleasant neighbours, spiteful playmates and friends who really bothered you when you were young. We all have these people in our childhood!
The Seven of Swords shows you’d do well to wonder what became of them, why they might’ve been how they were, what you learned, and that now you’d struggle to really remember them… showing how far we all come from pain.
