    WTX News says the UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab Lockdown in the UK has been extended for a further three weeks.  The NHS is struggling to cope, new makeshift hospitals are being made and the countries economy is on the verge of collapsing. But the British community spirit is getting stronger.

    It was always inevitable that the UK will struggle for health care facilities and delivering food and essentials to the most vulnerable. When this pandemic it reaches the peak of the coronavirus outbreak, it may even collapse, so communities in London and the Northwest have taken it upon themselves to help the situation.

    UK coronavirus lockdown could last until June says, Dominic Raab

    The Guardian says Dominic Raab has warned the public that lockdown measures could last into June as ministers came under pressure to set out a detailed plan to ease the stringent restrictions.

    Setting out plans for a minimum three-week extension to prevent a deadly “second peak” of infections, he said that any relaxation now would “substantially increase the number of deaths”.

    NHS Boss: ‘I need gowns, can I call Burberry’

    BBC News says The director of a large NHS trust has contacted the BBC asking for the phone numbers of Burberry and Barbour because he does not have enough gowns for his staff working on coronavirus wards.

    He said his trust has “less than 24 hours supply and [with the] weekend coming up” he was hugely concerned.

    The BBC will not disclose his name or the trust he runs.

    The Department of Health said it was working “around the clock” to provide protective equipment where needed.

    Saudi Arabia pledges $500 million to combat coronavirus

    Arab News says Saudi Arabia – who currently holds the G20 presidency – has pledged $500 million to support global efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic on Thursday.

    The Kingdom will allocate $150 million to the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness and Innovation, $150 million to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisations, and $200 million to other international and regional health organisations and programs.
