Before Kelner could ask her next question, the politician interjected: “Wait, what country are you from?”
When Kelner said the UK, she responded: “Ok well we don’t give a crap about your opinion, or your reporting. Why don’t you go back to your country where you have a major migrant problem.”
The persecution of Jews during WWII
The American politician has been known to provoke the media and has often made headlines for her controversial remarks, from comparing COVID-19 rules to the persecution of Jews during WWII to justifying the deadly January 6 riots.
It was the latest controversy in a political career for the Republican firebrand – a staunch supporter of US President Donald Trump and his Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement.
Greene is a significant figure within the Republican Party, she is one of the untouchables, heavily linked with the Israeli lobby and Arms and tobacco, which makes her political career a certainty.
The most hated woman in the Capitol
It is why she can be championed and say the most outrageous things in her interviews. Greene has a lot of contentious moments during an interview, made in Washington on stairs of Capitol Hill.
If you roam the corridors of the Capitol, people will tell you ‘she’s a heartless bixxh’ yet no one can depose her.
In one of her hearings she attacked liberal media
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, Republican of Georgia, had invited the heads of PBS, Paula Kerger, and of NPR, Katherine Maher, to testify before the House Oversight Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE) The hearing was titled “Anti-American Airwaves: Holding the Heads of NPR and PBS Accountable.”
And as the hearing started she led with a ferocious outburst, “Today, we are looking at the more than half a billion dollars federal taxpayers spend annually to fund public radio and television,” She vowed to grill the witnesses about their oversight of “radical left-wing echo chambers,” and accused the CEOs of perpetrating a “communist agenda” and being fine with “sexualizing and grooming children.”
So who is Marjorie Taylor Greene?
Ms Taylor Greene is, according to her bio on X: “Congresswoman for GA-14, Christian, mom, small business owner.”
She was elected to Congress in 2020 and quickly became a powerful – and vocal – player in the Republican Party.
Often known by her initials MTG, she also proclaims herself to be a “proud American, 100% pro-life, pro-gun, pro-Trump”.
Staunch ally of Donald Trump

She has downplayed and justified the 6 January Capitol insurrection, claiming the rioters would have “won” and “been armed” if she had organised it.
After the White House called her comments “dangerous, abhorrent”, Ms Taylor Greene said she had been joking.
In 2021, she was stripped of her committee assignments by House of Representatives managers over racist comments, her embracing of conspiracy theories and her past endorsement of violence against Democratic officials.
On social media, she had made posts advocating violence against Democrat opponents and casting doubt on the 9/11 terror attacks and the school mass shootings at Parkland and Sandy Hook.
