    Whether you’re looking for a new smartphone, the latest tech, a stylish outfit, or a kitchen appliance or gadget that will make your life easier, Amazon Prime Day 2023 is often the perfect time to shop.

    With the convenience of free, fast delivery and easy returns, consumers can get the best possible deal and receive their items promptly.

    Throughout the discount period, Amazon unveils various deals, and this year they tell us they plan to offer ‘deep discounts on top products from well-known brands, small businesses and artisan makers.’ 

    So, when is Amazon Prime Day 2023 and what’s in store for this year?

    Here is what you need to know.

    When is Amazon Prime Day 2023 in the UK?

    Good news! For those keen to get a potential date in the diary as soon as possible, Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day 2023 will take place between 00.01am on July 11 and 11.59pm on July 12.

    Do you need to be a Prime Member to benefit from Amazon Prime Day 2023?

    The short answer is yes – in order to benefit from Amazon Prime Day deals, you must be signed up to be an Amazon Prime member.

    However, if you have begun a Prime membership free trial, you will also be able to take advantage of the Amazon Prime Day deals.

    What’s new for Amazon Prime Day 2023?

    New for 2023, Amazon Prime Day will be offering customers a chance to buy once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

    The first Prime experience has already been revealed and will offer shoppers a chance to feel like a TV star’ by taking a trip to the set of one of Australia’s longest-running soaps, Neighbours.

    Amazon state: ‘One lucky Prime member will have the opportunity to take a trip to Erinsborough with a friend, meet their new Neighbours and stroll through world-famous sets as seen on TV.’

    More Prime Experiences are set to be unveiled in the run-up to Amazon Prime Day 2023.

    How to make the most of Amazon Prime Day 2023

    Amazon offers some guidance for particularly keen customers on how to make the most of Amazon Prime Day, including setting up deal alerts to get notifications via the Amazon App related to recent Amazon searches.

    They also recommend receiving deal notifications via Alexa, if you have it, by asking Alexa to add products to their Wish List, Cart, or Save for Later list and asking Alexa to notify you when a deal goes live.

    Early access deals are already starting, and Amazon state that Prime members can ‘browse tailored assortments of deals on the Amazon homepage’, including ‘Deals related to your views’ and ‘4+ Star deals for you’ – so make sure to keep an eye out.
