US eases travel rules for 61 countries – but not UK
Travel restrictions have been eased for many countries wishing to visit the US as the vaccine rollout continues. The US lowered 61 countries from a level 4 “avoid all travel” rating to a Level 3, which allows fully vaccinated travellers to visit.
France, Spain and Italy all being put on the Level 3 list – but most UK passengers are still banned from travelling to the US. The UK is listed as a Level 3 by the CDC but non-US citizens who have been in the UK in the last 14 days cannot enter the US unless a specific exemption applies.
Meanwhile, travellers from the US to the UK must self-isolate for 10 days on arrival as the country is on the “amber list”.
