UK travel: Portugal questions amber list move

Portugal is questioning the “logic” of the UK’s decision to move the country from the UK’s green list to the amber travel list from next Tuesday.

The move to the amber list means UK tourists should not visit the country and returnees must isolate for 10 days.

UK’s Grant Shapps says the rising cases and a Covid mutation found in Portugal are the reason for the travel changes.
