Trump backs down as Corbyn and China make a stand – Editorial

Trump backs down but will the MAGA crew accept it? probably not. The majority of Trump supporters will be hanging on from Trump’s soundbites ‘173 countries are queuing up kiss my axx’, eulogising him as a saviour and believe the US will win the ferocious trade war that Donald Trump has unleashed.

For him this is a game of who can bear more pain and because trade is at the heart of US ties with China, but he did not expect the main global powers like the Europe to retaliate.

But he doesn’t like losing and although the world has a 90 day pause, Trump will fight back and that too is concerning as that markets have showed, he cannot be trusted.

    Trump backs down

Xi Jinping is also a strongman who has dialled up nationalism as economic growth has slowed and that has strengthened his position in China. Beijing’s initial response to the US tariffs was measured. Now he vows to “fight to the end” and comes out as a Chinese hero.

This is a transformational moment in the global order, China expects to suffer. But it can also see how the Europeans have reacted as the US advances its own decline.

The Chinese is far more resilient than the US and lets not forget the might of the Chinese economy, when the 2008 financial crisis hit, “China saved the world” with its massive stimulus package.

Trump and Netanyahu meeting in Washington

Not one single journalist had the courage to ask about the Red Crescent massacre
Not one single journalist had the courage to ask about the Red Crescent massacre

Did anyone notice Trump and Netanyahu press conference, it went a bit under radar with all the tariff talk but the press conference was cancelled. But in the sit down before the talk, not one single tough question was proposed to either leader.

The didn’t even question why the Israeli leader flew in an emergency flight the day after Trump announced his cuts to tariffs, well at least he wore his suit and not his army greens.

Not one single journalist had the courage to ask about the Red Crescent massacre; where Israeli soldiers and militia executed 14 emergency medical and paramedics, who were going to the aid of civilians who had been shot by the IDF a little earlier.

They buried them in all a shallow grave which was uncovered before the bulldozers arrived and a video surfaced showing the massacre.

The only mention of Gaza came in the terms of real estate, driving Palestinians out of their homeland and invading it.

Why it’s important to share and support MPs like Corbyn

We need widespread sanctions on Israel to force it to end its war crimes in Gaza.
Corbyn is not the only one – there’s a growing coalition of the willing.

The world is being judged by likes and shares, and with biased algorithms the influence of the noble and truth seekers is being drowned out by bots and clickbait from other leaders.

    Coalition of the willing

When the former leader Jeremy Corbyn posts something about Palestine, immediately the likes of Priti Patel, Keir Starmer and Nigel Farage launch a barrage of posts to drown out the other posts. If we can support politicians and independent MPs the rest of the MSM will, albeit begrudgingly, cover the events.

Algorithms only work if they have other more popular posts to promote, which is why it is essential you follow, like, share and engage with likes of Jeremy Corbyn and other politicians. Especially those working in the most dangerous assignment in the world, reporting from Gaza.

This week Jeremy Corbyn and 30 MPs have written to the Prime Minister demanding that there should be an independent inquiry into the red crescent massacre, and although the Prime Minister acknowledged that the event, he fell short of demanding a pause in arms sales to Israel, despite another clear example of war crimes.

    Sideshow Kemi Badenoch

imagine if there was no drama from the US tariffs - We could save the CUTS
We would be outraged by all the healthcare reforms and CUTS globally

Don’t get me started on Kemi Badenoch who leapt to the support of Israel for expelling 2 British MPs. She is so desperate to remain relevant and appease the Conservative Friends of Israel that she will literally say the most outrageous things and somehow relate the fascist policies of power mad leaders like to Netanyahu to our our democracy. ‘We expel foreign diplomats so why can’t Israel’ – that almost sounded like an audition tape.

This was another toothless display by the Prime Minister Starmer, he should have at least had a Prime Ministerial reaction and summoned the Israeli ambassador, but he’s no better than a puppet.

    Food for thought

The world has seen how the Trump regime has eroded free speech in the White House press core, ‘if you don’t report what we approve, you’re out!’, but the biggest question to spring out this April is, how much damage can Trump do before Congress wakes up. Maybe Congress is deluded and believes they forced his hand as Trump backs down.

In reality, the trade wars and tariffs are all a distraction, imagine if there was no drama from the US tariffs, what would we be doing, we would be outraged at all the reforms and cuts that are taking place globally to our healthcare and spending.

Americans are fed up of Israel

Americans aren’t happy at that Netanyahu gatecrashed the White House. And if you needed to see how controlled the media are in Washington, try finding follow up posts from the massive protests that took place in the United States last week. They were Anti- genocide protests!

Today Trump and Netanyahu talked about their plan to have Palestinians "voluntarily" leave Gaza.

Let's be clear: nothing about this is voluntary — it would mean the coerced deportation of 2 million people from Gaza and U.S. taxpayers should have NOTHING to do with it. pic.twitter.com/1acx5E4OqF
