A trespasser who tried to break into several helicopters crashed while trying to fly off on one of them.
The thief made his way into Sacramento Executive Airport between 4am and 6am on Wednesday and tried to start four choppers on the tarmac, police said.
The individual managed to get one of the helicopters started – but wound up crashing.
The thief then fled the scene.
No injuries were reported in the ordeal.
