What did you make of Syabira’s anatomical steam cakes? (Picture: Channel 4)
The Great British Bake Off star Syabira had viewers in stitches with her watermelon cakes… which had a slightly anatomical vibe about them.
Syabira was amongst the cast of 12 amateur bakers trying to impress judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood in the famous tent this series.
For Pudding Week, the remaining contestants were tasked with producing steamed puddings, and while all tried their best, not everyone got the results they were hoping for.
Ever the creative, Syabira challenged herself by baking watermelon steamed puddings with ice cream, custard, and watermelon essence.
On paper, it looks fantastic, but in reality, the finished product only reminded audiences at home of one thing – vaginas. And not human ones, but alien vaginas.
While some praised her watermelon bakes as ‘delectable’ and ‘really beautiful,’ others had a good ol’ chuckle at their pink centre.

‘Syabira has fully made green vagina cake,’ one person tweeting, with another branding it the ‘Princess Fiona special.’
‘Let’s be honest, Syabria’s cakes look like vaginas don’t they,’ asked another.
A third wrote: ‘The split watermelon looks a bit… anatomical,’ while another declared Syabira has made ‘watermelon vulvas.’
Sadly, the alien vaginas didn’t go down too well with judges Paul and Prue, but they did credit Syabria’s ‘incredible’ efforts.
‘I love the way you coloured it. Amazing. It looks incredible,’ Prue said.
Paul, however, wasn’t too fond of the flavour.
‘The watermelon essence is too much for me,’ he said.
‘You killed it with the essence, but I say that with a heavy heart.’
Ever the optimist, though, Syabria didn’t let the comments get her down, as she openly admitted that she added too much essence.
And despite giving viewers a good laugh with her ‘monster vagina’ bakes, the Syabria were also out in force after she failed to impress with her artistic creation.
‘Syabria has such creative ideas,’ one praised, while another labelled themselves the ‘number one Syabira defender.’
We doubt the criticism will dampen her spirits, as she’s become known in the tent for her quirky ideas – even if the execution isn’t always perfect.
