A teenager who was allegedly raped by Benjamin Mendy twice asked for his Man City teammate’s number the day after the alleged assaults, a court heard.

Mendy, 28, and his friend Louis Saha Matturie, 41, are accused of raping a woman, 17 at the time, on August 23 last year.

The alleged attacks happened at an after-party, which Mr Grealish was at, at Mendy’s mansion in Cheshire.

Chester Crown Court on Monday heard how the young girl wanted to pass on Mr Grealish’s phone number to a woman she had seen with him earlier.

Matturie’s defence lawyer Lisa Wilding KC told the jury about text messages the teenager had sent to friends after the event.

One message read: ‘Jack Grealish is so sexy in person, he had been winking at you all night and saying how beautiful you were, but you did not sleep with him because you are not easy but you were invited out with them all next week.’

Speaking directly to the alleged victim Ms Wilding, said: ‘These messages reveal how you really were that morning, happy, you had had a great night, that’s the truth of it?’

‘No, that’s not true,’ the girl replied.

Ms Wilding argued the teenager had consented to sleeping with Mendy and Matturie, and then got worried about what her boyfriend would think.

She then got ‘carried away’ and ended up claiming she was raped, the court heard.

This trial resumed on Monday, after a three-week break.

The jury has already heard how Mendy is accused of raping the 17-year-old in his office and then his trophy room, before Matturie raped her in Mendy’s cinema room and later his own flat near Manchester city centre.

The court has also been told about ‘excitable’ voice messages sent to the girl’s friends on a Snapchat group the day after the party.

In them, the teenager told friends: ‘Honest to God. Peak of my life…The Dom has gone to my head. Don’t you just love champagne when it’s one thousand five hundred quid?’

A different, 23-year-old woman has also accused Matturie of raping her during the same event.

She claims she left the party with Matturie to go and buy more vodka from a nearby petrol shop.

But, on the way back, Matturie allegedly stopped his car, reclined her seat and raped her.

The woman told police: ‘I felt so disgusting, I felt so dirty, so minging. Disgusting.’

Prosecutors have alleged Mendy is a ‘predator’ who ‘turned the pursuit of women for sex into a game’, while Matturie was a ‘fixer’ whose job was to find young women for sex.

Mendy denies seven counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of sexual assault against six young women.

Matturie of Eccles, Salford, denies six counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault relating to seven young women.

Both men say, if any sex did take place with women or girls, it was consensual.

The jury has now heard from 10 of the 13 complainants.

    The trial continues.
