Daily Express – Smile of an innocent ‘lost’ in a war with no end 

The Daily Express splashes on the news that the youngest hostage being held in Gaza, 10-month-old Kfir Bibas, has been declared dead by Hamas.

In a statement, the IDF said Hamas are “wholly responsible” for the safety of the people it holds captive, and called for all hostages to be released.

The front page also reports on the royal drama as well as a story that the Chancellor is under pressure from some Tory MPs to scrap the triple pensions lock – something the paper has relentlessly campaigned to keep.
