A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with attempted rape.
The offence allegedly happened in 2013, when Sergeant Elliot Butler was a Met Special Constable.
Butler, who is now attacked to the Central East Command Unit, has also been charged with causing a male to engage in penetrative sexual activity.
He has now been suspended from duty.
Butler has been bailed and is set to appear at Westminster magistrates court on Monday.
