School slammed for ‘pathetic’ £3.50 Christmas lunch ‘like something from Oliver Twist’
The Daily Mirror: A school has sparked fury by serving a Christmas lunch consisting of a tiny piece of turkey and stuffing in a bap with a single pig in blanket and mini roll.
Photos of the measly-looking £3.50 meal given to students at Steyning Grammar School in West Sussex, were shared online with some furious parents complaining it was like “something from Oliver Twist”.
