Sarah Michelle Gellar melted hearts as she marked a special anniversary with husband Freddie Prinze Jr.
The adorable pair have become one of showbiz fans’ favourite couples, having first met in 1997 while making teen horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer and getting together romantically in 2000.
Sarah, 46, and Freddie, 47, got engaged after one year of dating before marrying on September 1, 2002 in a ceremony officiated by Adam Shankman, a director and choreographer who worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
This means they’re now celebrating 21 years of marriage, and the actress had the sweetest way of celebrating publicly.
Taking to social media, the Scooby-Doo star shared a throwback snap from their special day.
The photo captured Sarah and Freddie in their own little world, slow dancing with their arms around one another as Freddie placed a sweet kiss on her head.
Sarah looked stunning in a ruffled white gown, closing her eyes as she basked in the moment of newlywed bliss.
Dropping some hits, she wrote in her Instagram caption: ‘@realfreddieprinze what’s customary for 21 years? I believe it’s @celine or is it @loewe ?!?’
We hope you splashed the cash, Freddie!
Backing her up good and proper, one fan commented under the pic: ‘I believe it’s one bag for each decade…💕’
‘LOVE FRED AND DAPHNE ❤️❤️❤️’, another wrote.
‘My favorite celebrity couple still standing stronger than ever 🫶🏻’, one added.

In disbelief over where the time has gone, officiator Adam himself wrote: ‘Jesus. Has it been that long?!?’
Since walking down the aisle, Sarah and Freddie have gone on to have two children: daughter Charlotte Grace, born in 2009, and son Rocky James, born in 2012.
And if you’re wondering how our real-life Fred and Daphne are still together after over two decades, last year he shared their secret.
Freddie joked on Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O show: ‘I hesitate at giving [relationship] advice because what’s good for me may kill another, just like peanut butter.’
He revealed he is pretty much the dream husband as he cooks and cleans for Sarah: ’My mum was a chef and I learned how to cook, and I married someone who couldn’t cook.

‘So I’m necessary. She needs me to live and sustain herself! Number two is laughter. I still make her laugh.’
There’s also no chance of arguments over Freddie leaving his dirty pants lying around, as he ‘loves doing laundry’.
‘I hate a mess. If something is dirty, I clean it.’
